Come together and sing

by Joyce Ten Have

It came upon
a nordic hill
where white pines sway
of wooden frames
and Dutch nuance
came a caroling one day.
Caroling fro
other lands
just to claim
one example
Jesus came.
We cheered
and sang
and ate a dinner
with no bread or wine
but boy
was it a warm
good supper.
A caroling did we go.
A Christmas around the world.
