Dinosaurs

The dinosaurs have not departed. Undead they masquerade as overpasses, Sweeping sauropodian curves in reptilian highways, Silently snaking their way under our wheels and feet. They survive on hours and minutes, On the transient vegetation of our travels, as we unwittingly feed them the gaps and commutes of our lives.
