APRIL FOOL GOES WRONG

Practical jokes and hoaxes are part of the yearly tradition known as April Fools’ Day or All Fools’ Day, which occurs on April 1. April Fools! is a common way for jokesters to reveal their tricks. These practical jokes, which can be exposed as such the next day, can involve the media. The tradition of setting aside a day to pull amusing pranks on one’s neighbor has historically been rather widespread. (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_Fools’_Day)

Should Christians participate in April Fools’ Day?

But knowledge, not folly, is something that God created. According to James 1:5, He expects His servants to seek His knowledge rather than act foolish. God’s Word declares in Proverbs 24:9 that “the thought [devising] of foolishness is sin.” According to I John 3:4 and Rom. 7:14, sin is the transgression of God’s spiritual commandments. Even jokes and foolish discourse are forbidden by God (Eph. 5:1-4). In Matthew 5:22, Christ said, “…whosoever shall say, you fool, shall be in danger of the fire of hell.”

According to Mark 7:21–23, Christ also denounced being foolish, saying that such behavior “comes from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness: For all these evil things come from within and defile the man.” Additionally, God instructs His people in Jeremiah 10:2–3 to “Learn not the way of the heathen…For the customs of the people are futile [futile]”. Furthermore, he orders, “Therefore, depart from them and be you separate” (II Cor. 6:17).

Being foolish is wrong. Christians must abstain from it. They must distance themselves from the world’s pagan traditions, rituals, and practices, especially April 1st. A sister played a practical joke on her husband in this narrative, and it caused problems in their marriage.

(I LOST MY MARRIAGE FOR 3YRS OVER APRIL FOOL PRANK)

I wanted to give my husband what I thought was a surprise, I told him our first son was not his biological child. While we were having breakfast, I told him that I wanted to confess something which I have been hiding for the past four years since we have been married. “He then gave me the chance to speak and I told him, Israel is not your son but is my ex-lover’s.’ When I told him, he went out without saying anything. I thought he was going to come back soon… He spent the whole day away and he didn’t pick up my calls and that’s when I realized that he was affected by the story.”

MY husband didn’t return home, but went to his parents’ place to break the news. “When I got a call from my mother-in-law, that was when I realized how big the issue was, but I wasn’t scared because I thought of the DNA as my defense,” my husband parents insisted that we should divorce, my dear I cried and cried… 😭😭😭 My husband with his family didn’t believe me… to cut the story short April fool of 2020 caused 3yrs separation in my marriage, until God brought up an Angel *MR PETERS* to my way… December 27th 2022, God use him to settle my Marriage… please be careful with the spirit of APRIL FOOL.

We should draw lessons from this brief tale and exhort others to abstain from participating in it because even the Bible forbids it.

  1. Thanks for your short article. I would like to say a health insurance specialist also works for the benefit of the particular coordinators of a group insurance policies. The health agent is given a listing of benefits desired by an individual or a group coordinator. What a broker does indeed is hunt for individuals and also coordinators which usually best go with those wants. Then he shows his suggestions and if both sides agree, the broker formulates a legal contract between the two parties.

  2. Hi there, just became alert to your blog through Google, and found that it’s really informative. I?m going to watch out for brussels. I?ll be grateful if you continue this in future. Many people will be benefited from your writing. Cheers!

  3. If everything in this universe has a cause, then surely the cause of my hunger must be the divine order of things aligning to guide me toward the ultimate pleasure of a well-timed meal. Could it be that desire itself is a cosmic signal, a way for nature to communicate with us, pushing us toward the fulfillment of our potential? Perhaps the true philosopher is not the one who ignores his desires, but the one who understands their deeper meaning.

  4. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something which I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and extremely broad for me.

I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang
    of it!

  5. Undeniably imagine that that you said. Your favourite justification seemed to be on the net the easiest thing to bear in mind of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider concerns that they just don’t realize about. You managed to hit the nail upon the highest and also defined out the whole thing with no need side effect , other folks could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thank you

  6. Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing months of hard work due to no data backup. Do you have any methods to protect against hackers?

  7. The subsequent time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as a lot as this one. I mean, I do know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something fascinating to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you may repair when you werent too busy searching for attention.
