Expectations

Expectations

I have yet to find a place wherein expectation and reality lay together.
These are the individuals we find at odds;
Ones optimistic vision of utopia me by the bulwark of pessimism spoken by reality
The expectations of this world are built upon reality;
A reality wherein lies a conflict. A conflict between the expectancy of others with yourself
The hurt begins where your optimism is blasted by the “pop” of pop-culture. The culture of the
unrelatable.
We choose optimism that suits our situation; yet we see the choice optimism of others as a low-
ball-bid on life.
Perhaps the true treasure is in the eye of the beholder:
And I refuse to accept the plundering of the joy set before me in this season.
For my future is eternal.
